Although Thassos does not have its own airport, there are two International airports nearby on the mainland.

Directions from Kavala Airport to Keramoti Ferry Port Kavala’s International Airport “Megalos Alexandros” (KVA) is the nearest (and smallest) airport, allowing for for a short and quick route to Thassos island.

There are few direct flights operating there, but it is only 15 minute drive from the ferry port in Keramoti.

Directions from Thessaloniki Airport to Kavala and Keramoti Ferry Ports Thessaloniki International Airport “Macedonia” (SKG) is further (and larger) airport, and is 2 hour drive to the ferry port in Kavala and 2 hours 30 minutes to the ferry port in Keramoti Thessaloniki airport is connected to the ferry ports by an excellent road and a highway network, making the journey to Kavala or Keramoti easy.
